Based on True Events, The Charismatic Pastor tells the incredible story of a pastor at a small, coastal charismatic church whose young and beloved wife allegedly commits suicide across state lines, but thousands of believers and followers maintain there was foul play. The pastor is then accused of sexual assault and rape against underage church members years prior. Hounded by protesters, the pastor shuts down his church and starts a new church in another part of the county but cannot escape the lingering residue of community doubt and suspicion.
